Saturday May 4th was "I Love My Park Day," by the NYS DEC. This annual event brings together thousands of volunteers to celebrate and enhance New York's parks, historic sites, and public lands. Fire Island's Robert Moses State Park Beach was a location for South Shore residents to show their love for Fire Island. Among the volunteers was NYS Senator Phil Boyle.
